Sandy Hollow Recreation Area & Campground is open for camping May 1. There are 37 camping spots with electrical hookups, two full hookup spots, and 12 spots with water and electric. There are four water hydrants placed around the campground and a sewer dump station. A horseshoe pit, playground area, and sand volleyball court also are nearby amenities. The campground's two ponds have been stocked with catfish, big mouth bass, blue gills, walleye, and crappies. Bring your bikes for the bike trail that spans three miles to Sioux Center.
