About the event

THUNDER IN THE VALLEY, RESERVED CAMPING RULES

The address of the campground is: 2130 17th St, Rock Valley IA.

* Campers will not be allowed on the grounds until noon on Wednesday, July 8^th. Checkout by noon on Sunday, July 12^th.

* There are no rain dates scheduled and no refunds.

* Event tickets sold separately at the Gate – (Cash or credit card)

* Campsites are 30’ x 60’, primitive with no hookups. You must contain all your items on that one site (camper, vehicles, trailer, UTV, golf cart, etc.). If your vehicle or anything else is parked in the alleys or Fire lanes, you will be towed

* You MUST be 18 years of age or accompanied by an adult to camp. Anyone found to be breaking this rule will be asked to leave. Thunder in the Valley is not responsible for any accidents.

* In the event of a medical emergency call 911. If you have any emergency, please give the operator the address of the campground and your site number. If there is a weather-related emergency, tune in to the local stations at 93.9, 106.9 or 105.3 for information.

* Please be aware of carbon monoxide exhaust. Please make sure your generator or camper exhaust is not going directly into another unit.

* Alcohol is allowed in the Camp Ground; however, you must be 21 to consume alcohol, it’s the law, and you must keep it in the campground. Dispose of all containers in designated trash containers.

* Campfires are allowed if they are self-contained and in an elevated, portable or suspended fire pit. Please be respectful of the property and grounds. Please pick up and remove all rings and wood when you leave. The Fire Chief can ban any fires at his discretion depending on weather conditions or other factors. All camping units must have adequate fire extinguishers.

* NO FIREWORKS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CAMPGROUND. IF YOU ARE FOUND WITH THESE, YOU WILL BE ESCORTED OUT IMMEDIATELY WITH NO REFUNDS.

* Quiet time begins at 1:00am and goes through 6:00am. If you feel this time is too late, please remember that this is NOT a traditional campground.

* Dogs are allowed in the campgrounds. All dogs must be on a leash. If you bring a dog, PLEASE clean up after it or you will be asked to leave. PLEASE NOTE: Dogs are not allowed in the grandstand area.

* Thunder in the Valley will have showers available to use for Campers and Pullers located in the Pit area near the scales. Restrooms will be available on the grounds. There will be ice for sale by the West Concession Stand. For your convenience there is a Water faucet & hose in the RV Sports Complex located north across from the campground on 17 th Street to fill your tanks with water.

* All Recreational vehicles including OHV’s, Golf carts and Scooters from campground are not allowed in the Pit Area except if a Pit Vehicle Pass has been issued and displayed. Parking for these vehicles near the event entrance.
